GENERAL POLICIES

Fingerprints By Live Scan is not responsible for knowledge regarding individual licensing procedures.

State fees, Federal fees, Retention fees, and County/State taxes all vary depending on the reason for fingerprinting. Fingerprints By Live Scan has no influence on state licensing fees. Applications and procedures vary amongst licenses. It is the applicants responsibility to be aware of deadlines and requirements regarding the license they wish to obtain.

Refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances: 

You made duplicate payments in error (e.g., you paid onsite, as well as online) and have requested a refund.

The Fingerprints By Live Scan location was closed because of inclement weather and you have requested a refund for fingerprinting services not rendered.

You cancelled a fingerprinting appointment before the appointment date and have requested a refund.

Refunds will not be issued under any of the following circumstances:

Fingerprints were sent to the wrong ORI #.

Fingerprints are “deficient” or "rejected" and have not showed up on a state application yet.

Once fingerprints have been transmitted to FDLE/FBI, no refunds will be granted under any circumstances. 

Refund Procedures

Our standard turnaround time to process a refund is 30 days from the date we have received your refund request. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment (e.g., if payment made with a credit card. Processing fees of 5% are non-refundable on any orders placed in store or online.
